What happened in November 2018?

How time flies! The eleventh month of 2018 is over, signalling it’s almost time to buy new calendars but first things first. Let’s take a look at what happened in November. It started off with All Saints Day and many families celebrated Thanksgiving on the third Thursday of the month. Besides these two huge holidays, great albums, videos and tours were announced in the past 30 days. Women in metal kept us occupied with all the great and sometimes not so good news. Make sure you didn’t miss anything important and check the summary of November 2018 below.

ALBUMS

Let’s start with November’s album releases. Here’s what bands delivered in the past month:

Untitled collageSwiss heavy metal outfit Burning Witches released their second album “Hexenhammer” on November 9 and Italians megastars Lacuna Coil dropped their anniversary live album/DVD “The 119 Show – Live in London” on the same day. On November 16, American guitarist Nita Strauss released her debut solo album “Controlled Chaos“, folk metallers Eluveitie the 10th-anniversary edition of their second studio record “Slania – 10 Years” and Dutch vocalist and songwriter Anneke van Giersbergen a live album with orchestra titled “Symphonized“. Last but not least, Italian power metal band Kalidia dropped a badass new album titled “The Frozen Throne” on November 23.

As for the announcements, here’s the list of what’s coming out in the near future:
