Evanescence guitarist, singer and songwriter Jen Majura has joined forces with Lacuna Coil’s Cristina Scabbia and Within Temptation guitarist, Ruud Jolie, for a one-minute jam/cover of “How Do You Do” from Roxette. Watch the footage below.
Jen Majura has been entertaining her fans through the lockdown period with the help of her Youtube channel. One of the video series called “1 min jammms” brings together musicians from rock and metal for short and fun cover versions of well-known songs. The latest jam features the one and only Cristina Scabbia on vocals and Ruud Jolie on guitar. And Star Wars.
Jen comments: “”Female Fronted” is NOT a musical genre – but it is a whole bunch of friendship to me, so please welcome for this week’s 1min jammm: Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil and Ruud Jolie of Within Temptation (with who we actually were supposed to be on tour right now). We gathered digitally from our homes, socially distancing, to jam Roxette’s hit “How do you do” and after all the other jams were featured with jammer’s pets, I thought it would be nice to switch it up for once and have a Star Wars featured 1min jammm.”
