Cellar Darling will be back in the United Kingdom and Ireland next year. The band has announced UK & Ireland 2019 with 10 shows in March.
“We liked it so much last time around that we want to come back already and PERHAPS celebrate a special occasion. We can’t tell you what it is yet, but it might be something to do with the second album,” comments the band, teasing about a new record. “One of our highlights for 2019 is already confirmed. Another one should be ready just in time, and that’s all we can tell you for now…”
Cellar Darling formed in summer 2016 when Anna Murphy (vocals, hurdy-gurdy), Merlin Sutter (drums) and Ivo Henzi (guitars & bass) left Switzerland’s most successful metal act to date, the folk metallers Eluveitie. The trio released their debut album “This Is The Sound” in June 2017, introducing a new wave of folk rock. Since then, Cellar Darling have reported about working on a new material several times.
