Dutch symphonic metal band Blackbriar has released the music video for their latest single, “Snow White and Rose Red.” Check it out here.
For the past few weeks, Blackbriar have been teasing screenshots from their latest music video. Now, “Snow White and Rose Red” is released. The single track is a duet with Ulli Perhonen, German soprano and singer of Snow White Blood.
The story of Snow White and Rose Red is a German fairy tale, popularized in the 19th century by the Brothers Grimm. In the classic tale, sisters Snow White and Rose Red take pity upon a helpless bear, who helps them in turn after they encounter a wicked dwarf.
The video deviates somewhat from this canon, depicting the girls as searching for one another after being separated. Will they ever meet again?
