Polish heavy metal band around lead singer Marta Gabriel just announced the departure of drummer Tomek Danczak „Golem”. He was Crystal Viper’s permanent drummer for 13 years and has now decided to leave the band. Find more details and the identity of their new drummer below.
The band states: „Line up changes are never an easy thing, but band is like a family – divorces sometimes happen as well. That being said, we announce that Crystal Viper and the drummer Tomek Danczak “Golem” decided to go separate ways. There is no bad blood between us, no drama, and we wish Golem nothing but all the best, and we thank him for all the years of cooperation (we did some cool things together, didn’t we?).”
Along with the band news, they also already revealed that Swedish musician Cederick Forsberg will take his place as the new Crystal Viper drummer.
„Please meet the new Crystal Viper drummer, Cederick Forsberg! You might know this Swedish musician from bands such as Blazon Stone or Rocka Rollas. We are very happy to welcome him in the Crystal Viper family! Metalheads of Portugal and Spain will be between the first ones that will see him in action in November and December. See you there, we are metal nation!“, the band comments on their social media.
In addition, Crystal Viper will be touring Spain and Portugal at the end of November/beginning of December this year. Support band for the Iberian tour is a Catalonian melodic metal band Kilmara.
