February 18, French metal act Elyose unveiled a new EP titled “Persona”. Initially a band, Elyose changed its status to a solo act of the vocalist and songwriter Justine Daaé in late 2019. “Persona” is a more sophisticated and audacious continuation of the band’s previously released three full-length studio albums. This fresh new dose of symphonic, gothic and industrial metal fusion is loaded with punching riffs and infectious vocal melodies. Besides her usual seductive French, Justine embraces English as her second language and releases not one but two songs in this tongue for the first time in her career.
