Lyrias Vocalist Aline Happ releases new Cover and reveals Detail about her solo Album

You hear the intro of this song and you already know it’s “Sweet Dreams (are made of this)” by Eurythmics. The iconic song now is influenced by dark folk vibes in a new cover by singer Aline Happ, known for her work as lead singer of the symphonic metal band Lyria. The version is available on the artist’s channel, which has already accumulated more than 1 million views.

The song was originally released in 1983 by the British group Eurythmics and is part of the eponymous album. One of the biggest hits of the group, the song was also covered by artists such as Marilyn Manson, Yo La Tengo, Mika, among others. And it was sampled by De La Soul, Britney Spears, 50 Cent, Royal Gigolos, among others.

Aline Happ’s first solo album crowdfunding campaign was a success! Happ is recording her first solo album with originals and Celtic/Folk versions of Rock and Metal songs. The artist reached more than 200% of the goal and soon the pandemic is over she will announce the next steps about the album and the perks selected on her campaign.

Known worldwide, Lyria is a Symphonic Alternative Metal band founded in 2012 by Aline Happ. Since then, the group has released two albums via crowdfunding support, Catharsis (2014) and Immersion (2018) and played in several Brazilian cities and also online concerts for all over the world.
