Japanese kawai metal band Babymetal drops yet another single off their upcoming album “Metal Galaxy”. Watch the video for “Shanti Shanti Shanti” featuring live footage and crazy kaleidoscopic effects below.
In their new explosive single “Shanti Shanti Shanti”, Babymetal call for peace. The title of the track comes from a Sanskrit term that represents an invocation of peace. Chanting “shanti” three times has its deeper meaning in Buddhist and Hindu traditions. Each of the three chants calls for a different kind of piece – piece in body, speech and mind, such as in the mantra “Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti”.
The track is taken from Babymetal’s upcoming album entitled “Metal Galaxy”, due out October 11. The album’s main theme is that girls are on an odyssey to the Metal Galaxy, accompanied by some special guests including Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy and Sabaton vocalist Joakim Brodén. The band has previously released “Pa Pa Ya” and “Elevator Girl” from their upcoming LP. More album details are available here.
