The rumours are true. Unfortunately, Within Temptation were forced to postpone the release of their long-awaited seventh studio album “Resist”. Due to production issues, the album will be released in early 2019 instead of December 14. Read more details below.
“We are super overwhelmed by the great response to our new music and we want to thank all of you for your endless support! However, we are currently experiencing production problems and are forced to postpone the release of RESIST to February 1st, 2019. But don’t worry: all the preorders will still be on and delivered to your doormat,” informed the band on their social media. “Because we are very sorry about this, we want to give you something back: not only one but TWO brand new tracks.”
The band will drop a new extra single on Friday, November 23. It’s called “Firelight” and it features a Belgian singer/songwriter Jasper Steverlinck with whom Sharon performed on Belgian TV program Liefde voor muziek. You can see the artwork of “Firelight” below.
Don’t forget to change the date in your calendars; “Resist” comes out February 1st.
