Live review: Halestorm in Munich, Germany (November 16, 2019)

During their Vicious Tour 2019, Halestorm also stopped by in Munich, where they played a sold-out show in Tonhalle on November 16. The stakes were high but the band lived up to the crowd’s expectations easily and rocked the venue.

Starting with “Do Not Disturb”, Halestorm played many new songs off their latest album “Vicious” that we didn’t hear in Munich last year. Lzzy Hale’s powerful voice, her brother Arejay’s energetic drumming and the flawless performance of Joe Hottinger and Josh Smith on guitar and bass drove the audience crazy and caused little mosh pits throughout the explosive set. Next to heavy and powerful songs like “Mayhem”, “Uncomfortable” or “I Get Off” , we could also hear the softer side of the band, playing “Familiar Taste Of Poison”, “Dear Daughter” and even an impressive cover of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”.

After about 90 minutes, the band finished their bombastic performance with the hit song “I Miss The Misery”. To get a closer idea about the storm Lzzy and her crew unleashed, you can see a photo gallery from the wild show below.
