Ladies of Chaos Rising have joined forces again to deliver more killer music! This time, the international all-female collaborative metal project unveils a cover of Napalm Death’s track “Greed Killing”. Listen to their kick-ass version below.
Chaos Rising is an online collaborative metal project created in 2019 by French songwriter, vocalist and instrumentalist Stéphanie Nolf. It unites female metal artists from all across the globe with a purpose to show and promote their abilities and talent. The collaborators get involved in a wide spectrum of aspects of the music industry; from playing to recording to album production to promotion and design.
To do something fun for Halloween, Chaos Rising presents their first ever cover song today. “Greed Killing” comes from the EP of the same title, released by the legendary British band Napalm Death in 1995. The cover features French vocalist Auré Jäger (Akiavel) and guitarist Stéphanie Nolf (Unsafe, Syrinx), and Brazil’s Pitchu Ferraz on bass and Janaina Melo (Sinaya) on drums.
Comments the vocalist Auré Jäger: “At the beginning, we’re all fans of Death Metal. We have the same musical culture. And we wanted to pay tribute to a legendary band. We agreed on Napalm Death and we worked to put a touch of femininity to this metal hit. So we hope that they will appreciate it !! And also the audience that will listen to us!
