Guitarist Merel Bechtold’s new band Dear Mother drops the second offering off of their upcoming debut album. Watch the video for “Symbiose” below.
After parting her ways with Delain in 2019 and disbanding Purest Of Pain in summer 2020, guitarist Merel Bechtold unveiled a new alternative/metalcore band Dear Mother. Joining her are drummer Joey de Boer, with whom she also played in Delain and Purest Of Pain, and vocalist David Pear. As described by the band, they sound is influenced by artists such as Fit For A King, Dayshell, Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, PVRIS and more.
Following band’s debut “12 Years In Exile”, “Symbiose” is the second single taken from Dear Mother’s upcoming debut album, scheduled for release in 2021.
