Alternative/progressive metal band Morphide unveils a brand new single titled “Panopticon”. It comes with a music video that can be watched below.
Morphide was founded by vocalist Eissa and guitarist Chris in June 2019. The band focuses on the emotionality of the song, delivered through the atmosphere and heavy riffs, making their songs “breathe”. Morphide take inspiration from bands such as Tesseract, Karnivool, Spiritbox and Northlane.
The new single is taken from Morphide’s long-awaited upcoming debut album, with lyrics dealing with a toxic relationship and the difficulty of understanding it and getting out of it.
“As a young band, we are still looking for our sound,” says the band. “‘Panopticon'” is another change of direction, which, we believe, represents the first step towards our final goal.”
