The Online Female Fest is back with the second edition! Read the first details of what awaits you this May below.

After last year’s edition with performances of Share Ross (Vixen) and Lacey Sturm among others, the Online Female Fest is coming back on May 13th 2021 on!

The first artists confirmed for the 2021 edition are US rockstar Madame Mayhem and multi-platinum Swedish singer Linda Varg. Other performers will be announced in the following weeks, one every week until May 13th.

The audience can watch the festival and purchase tickets at this link:

Proceeds will go to Progetto Itaca, an Italian no profit that has been helping people struggling with their mental health for decades, providing free counseling, work reinstatement, a help line and many other services and opportunities. The registration on the platform is free and people can register via email or Facebook.

The Online Female Fest was born on April 2020, during the major lockdown that saw around 5 billion people in isolation. This translated into loss of jobs, loved ones and freedom to attend any type of live events. A year later, this crisis has impacted musicians, crew, live shows and live venues worldwide. Female artists and personnel have been impacted even more as a result of an underlying situation. In fact, a research conducted in 2017 showed that only 16.8% of all active artists are women, in addition to having a lower income compared to their male counterpart.

In this situation, it is even more important to give voice to female artists, while continuing the legacy of Online Female Fest of bringing joy and hope into the homes of potentially billions of people thanks to the healing power of music.
