“Frozen Beauties” is the first offering from Akiavel’s upcoming second album titled “Væ Victis”, a follow-up to 2020’s debut “V”. This concept album delves into the darkest parts of the human psyche and explores the depths of depravity of the most monstrous humans: serial killers. Further evolving their sound, Akiavel takes a radical approach to their musical assault, fully immersing the listener in the dark and twisted affair. “Væ Victis” embodies the word “death,” putting forth an intrusive battery of blistering guitars, pummeling drums, and scathing vocals that culminates in one of the most robust death metal records the genre has seen yet
“This album is the continuity of the first one, where we dug further and deeper into Akiavel’s style. The fact of knowing each other way better has helped the writing process,” comments band’s drummer Butch.
