American alternative metal artist Melissa VanFleet joins forces with Italian symphonic death metal band Genus Ordinis Dei for the track “Nemesis”. Watch the music video below.
Melissa VanFleet is an alternative metal vocalist and songwriter crafting dark songs with haunting melodies and intense messages. She has powerfully and effectively established her own unique sound by presenting her signature vocal prowess at the forefront while incorporating her classical and orchestral influences with heavy, melancholic undertones. In 2015, she debuted with an acoustic album “Metal Lullabies”, followed by single “Raven” in 2017, and EP “Ode To The Dark” produced by Lacuna Coil’s Marco Coti Zelati in October 2018.
“When Genus Ordinis Dei approached me about singing on Nemesis, I was curious to see how my ethereal style would blend with their death metal sound. The passion that pours out of their music is contagious and I’m proud to have contributed my voice to this track!” says Melissa.
