Arjen Lucassen’s Ayreon unveils a music video for “Daniel’s Descent into Transitus Medley” off of the brand new album “Transitus”. The song features Simone Simons, Marcela Bovio, Caroline Westendorp and Tommy Karevik on vocals. Watch the cinematic clip below.
The record focuses on a new story that’s not connected to the Ayreon universe and fuses a sci-fi theme with a gothic ghost story, partially set in the 19th century starring lead characters Abby and Daniel. The story is narrated by Tom Baker known from popular British TV series Doctor Who. The album features Oceans Of Slumber’s Cammie Gilbert, Epica’s Simone Simons, Trillium’s Amanda Somerville, MaYaN’s Marcela Bovio, Caroline Westendorp (ex-The Charm The Fury), Ex-Libris’ Dianne van Giersbergen and others on vocal duties. “Transitus” came out on September 25.
