Finnish cinematic metal band Dark Sarah founded by Heidi Parviainen (ex-Amberian Dawn) delays the release of new album “The Golden Moth”.
It was announced so in a recent post on Dark Sarah´s socials, stating: “Together with our new manager we have come to the conclusion that the planned release for May 2018 should instead be postponed over the summer because of the fast-approaching festival and holiday season in Europe. We apologize for the delay, but hope you understand this decision as it is for a good reason.”
“We have finished recording, mixing and mastering the new album – so it is finally ready and we are proud beyond words of the result!” says the band. However, they want to promote the new album as well as they can when it is hot and new, therefore they need a few more months to actually release it.
“The Golden Moth” is the final piece of conceptual Sarah trilogy, following band´s debut “Behind The Black Veil” from 2015 and “The Puzzle” released in 2016. In the third album, Sarah visits The Upper World, where spirits and gods reside. There she meets again The Dragon (portrayed by Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto), the ruler of the Underworld, and other characters including Iron Mask (Zuberoa Aznárez), White Beard (Marco Hietala) and Fortune Teller (Netta Skog).
The band has also some good news. Dark Sarah have signed a new worldwide management deal, which means more promotion, touring and shows in the future. They hope to get their shows to Central Europe soon.
Meanwhile, watch “Trespasser” – the first track off the new album.
