Jinjer announce new “Micro” EP

Jinjer have recently entered the studio to record some new music for an upcoming EP “Micro”, which will be released later this year via Napalm Records.

“After hundreds of shows all around the world, and accumulating all the energy given us by you, we entered the studio to record and bring something absolutely new to the table,” says the band.

As for the details, there’s not much yet. Eugene Abdiukhanov, Jinjer bass player, spoke to Loud TV earlier this year saying there will be: “four or five songs, absolutely brand new.” As for the direction, he stated: “It will be a different direction, it will be a different approach, but still JINJER. It’s gonna be progressive.”

The EP was recorded at Morton Studio in Kiev, Ukraine. You can watch the studio report with behind the scenes of the recording below.

Jinjer will embark on Latin American tour in November/December and support Amorphis and Soilwork in early 2019 in Europe. The Ukrainian metal outfit will also visit Japan in April for the first time.
