Evanescence unveil a music video for their latest single “Use My Voice”. Watch it below.
“Use My Voice” is taken from Evanescence’s “The Bitter Truth”, due out later this year. The album is Evanescence’s first offering since 2017’s “Synthesis” and their fifth studio record to-date. For the new single, Amy Lee and her gang joined forces with some powerful women, including Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) and Taylor Momsen (The Pretty Reckless). The band says: “One of the most exciting parts of making our new song was getting a little help from our friends. A very special thank you to all the incredible women who lent their voices to create the tidal wave of girl power on #UseMyVoice: Lzzy Hale, Deena Jakoub, Lindsey Stirling, Taylor Momsen, Sharon den Adel, Amy McLawhorn, my two beautiful sisters Lori Lee Bulloch and Carrie South and of course our own Jen Majura!”
The song is a part of their campaign to encourage voter registration or the 2020 United States presidential election. “This is an era of awakening, and full of powerful beauty,” says Amy Lee. “I hope to inspire others to seek truth, find their own voices and use them as I step up to use mine. Don’t let anybody speak for you. Only you can do that.”
