Guitarist Merel Bechtold presents a debut single of her new modern metal band Dear Mother. The song is titled “12 Years In Exile” and comes along with a music video.
After parting her ways with Delain last year and disbanding Purest Of Pain this summer, guitarist Merel Bechtold finally unveils the debut single from her new alternative/metalcore band Dear Mother. Joining her are drummer Joey de Boer, with whom she also played in Delain and Purest Of Pain, and vocalist David Pear. As described by the band, they sound is influenced by artists such as Fit For A King, Dayshell, Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, PVRIS and more. Dear Mother’s debut album is scheduled for release in 2021, so stay tuned for more details.
