Dear Mother – Satellite (Music Video)

Dutch/Russian alternative metal/rock band Dear Motirer with Merel Bechtold on guitars unveils a new hard-hitting single off of their upcoming debut album. Watch the video for their brand new offering “Satellite” below.

After parting ways with Delain in 2019 and disbanding Purest Of Pain in summer 2020, guitarist Merel Bechtold founded a new alternative band Dear Mother. Joining her are former Delain and Purest Of Pain drummer Joey Marin de Boer, and Russian-born vocalist and filmmaker David Pear. As described by the band, their sound is influenced by artists such as Fit For A King, Dayshell, Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, PVRIS and more.

Following band’s debut “12 Years In Exile” and “Symbiose“, “Satellite” is the third song from Dear Mother’s upcoming debut album, scheduled for release on July 16, 2021. “This song is about a very heavy subject that many of us can relate to, including myself,” comments Bechtold on the song that deals with the heavy topic of drug and alcohol addiction.
