Michalina Malisz (Eluveitie) teams up with the Harp Twins Camille and Kennerly for an epic hurdy gurdy/vocal/harp cover of British metallers Bring Me The Horizon’s massive hit “Throne”. Watch the video below.
Bring Me The Horizon’s “Throne” was featured on the band’s 2015 fifth studio album “That’s The Spirit”. As of now, the official music video for the single has been viewed over 134 million times on Youtube.
Next to the emotional cover of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” in collaboration with her Eluveitie colleague Fabienne Erni, “Throne” is the first release with Michalina playing hurdy gurdy as well as singing the entire song. The cover features a guest appearance from Nordic Celtic harp duo Harp Twins Camille and Kennerly.
Michalina has previously covered a number of well-known songs such as Nightwish’s “Wishmaster”, Iron Maiden’s “Fear Of The Dark”, System Of A Down’s “Toxicity”, The Witcher theme song and others. Some of the mentioned covers may be found on her debut EP “Heavy Gurdy Vol. 1” which came out earlier this year.
